Silverwood Theme Park in Athol, Idaho recently under went a ghoulish transformation and became Scarywood.
Scarywood is definetly a great way to spend a Saturday. To start off, dress warm!
Scarywood goes beyond your basic haunted house and includes fun activities for everyone. During the day Scarywood is a fun theme park with lots of rides, face painting, costume contests and other fun activities besides the rides.
At night, Scarywood takes on a more terrifying theme with ghosts, zombies and haunted fun that really can send chills up your spine!
First, YOU MUST GET YOUR TICKETS for the primary attractions of the MidFRIGHT express train ride and Terror Canyon. The night begins at 6:30 pm and ends at 11:00 pm. Scarywood has had a tremendous response with sold out crowds. Get your tickets!

The MidFRIGHT express is a 45 minute scare ride that will make you wonder why anyone would dare venture into the dark without windows on the train!
Once you get off the train and begin to make your way to the rides, don't forget to stop by for a Nightmare!

Nic k Norton's Nightmare show of Illusions is guaranteed to make you walk away scratching your head and maybe even changing your pants! Before the show you have a little time to grab a drink, eat a little and warm up. This show is definetly a winner for all. Even if you have seen his show during the regular summer season, you will love this show.
After the show, make sure to swing by the bathrooms in preparation for what's next.
As you make your way to the rides, watch out for some of the inhabitants of Scarywood along the paths and hiding in the fog.

I almost forgot! Before making
it to the rides, stop by what once was the merchantile and swing in for
a face painting and some souveniers from The Twighlight Haunt.
Pay attention to the people around you and walking past you, they just might be, one of the walking dead!
After this, move on to the rides. Get that stomach ready for what's next.

Last but not least, Terror Canyon. This is not an attraction for the faint of heart! No matter how old you are, you're going to jump, scream and squeeze the hand of the person who is next to you!
This really is an adventure from the otherside. It's fun and worth every penny. Honestly, I really did love Scarywood, gouls and al. Silverwood did a phenomenal job transforming the park into a ghoulishly fun attraction for the whole family.
Again, make sure you get your tickets quickly, there is limited space!
Visit, http://www.silverwoodthemepark.com/scarywood-nights.php to get those tickets. Even though tickets are available at the gates, who wants to wait in line? Have fun!
